About Carrie Spillane

Carrie Spillane Coaching puts a name and a business model to something I’ve been doing my entire life: bringing order, structure, and a sense of possibility to projects of all kinds. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats, and each has shaped my approach to organization.

  • As a preschool teacher, I loved designing classroom spaces and watching the magic unfold as children made them their own.

  • As a homeowner, I’ve moved multiple times, including downsizing from a 3,000-square-foot home to just 1,200 square feet—with no attic, basement, or garage. It was my ultimate decluttering challenge!

  • As a professional in association management and event planning, I navigate the daily demands of paper and digital organization while juggling multiple projects, deadlines, and events. I’m always looking for a more efficient way to get things done.

  • As a parent, I’ve coordinated the busy lives of three children, including cross-country college relocations and apartment moves.

But one of my greatest joys is also one of the simplest: cleaning out a closet, a drawer, or that dreaded space under the sink. Pull everything out. Decide what to keep, sell, or let go. Find the right way to arrange, contain, and access what remains. Then step back and enjoy the satisfaction of a space that works. I’m unapologetically passionate about organization!

With degrees in psychology and education, coursework in strengths-based coaching, and a certificate in Residential Organizing from the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), I bring a thoughtful, practical, and supportive approach to every project. My goal is not simply to create organized spaces, but to help people find clarity, build confidence, and develop systems that work for their lives.
